Paintings 2005-2016

First I chose a theme city - which was used as inspiration source.

I was out in the urban environment to photographed digitally, a variety of buildings. These dimensional images I edited in Photoshop so they get  "simple" surfaces. The images are usually of architecture, small and large buildings, apartment buildings, skyscrapers, or exciting space.

The images consists of people, cars and buildings. These buildings form perspective lines, and depth. I use surfaces, pattern (leopard) and colors to reveal an exciting composition. The colors I chose to use is brown, blue, purple, pink and black, some of the colors I use several times in different denominations to reinforce certain areas of the image.

I am inspired by artists Michael Bevilaqua, Andy Warhol and Kenneth Blom. Contemporary art, pop art (with their mass productions) and hard edge (simple and clear surfaces).
